Lead Operations at Mana Pool

Mana Pool is looking for a full-time, US-based, remote employee to lead operations at Mana Pool. You will work closely with the CEO/co-founder to take over a range of operational and finance duties.

Requirements/Skills

For this position, you should be detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and love Magic.

• Ability to email/phone with diverse stakeholders, such as sellers, state agencies, partners, and vendors
• Excellent with spreadsheets and data analysis (SQL skills welcome)
• Intuition for what software and process improvements will make Mana Pool operations run smoother and more efficiently
• Experience with Magic: The Gathering - playing, buying and selling experience welcome
• Finance-related college degree preferred

Responsibilities

You will start this position by shadowing the CEO. You will learn, document, and take on responsibilities that may include:

• Bi-weekly payouts for sellers
• Monthly payouts and onboarding for affiliates
• Monitor for fraud (on buy and sell side)
• Ensure orders are sent out on time
• Supervise state sales tax filing (via stripe.com)
• Project financials
• Manage payroll and benefits

Compensation

Compensation is highly negotiable based on experience and skills.

• Salary - $75,000/year minimum
• Significant stock/equity in Mana Pool
• 401K
• 22 days of paid vacation
