Flavor is the primary consideration for deck building. However, the deck still performs well and will keep up with modern precons. Dwarves love their treasure, and the deck reflects that through a healthy amount of Treasure Token generation. This enables aggressive play with Dwarves that are pumped with Equipments and Anthems. Of course, any hoard of treasure is bound to summon a Dragon, as Dragons cannot resist the allure of treasure. The Arkenstone and War of the Last Alliance can tutor for Magda, Brazen Outlaw, who uses the hoard of Treasure Tokens to play the Dragons from deck as a way to close out the game if the Dwarves cannot finish the job.
With the exception of Magda, Brazen Outlaw, every card can be found in LOTR/Hobbit/D&D/FF sets to keep the flavor as close to the source inspiration as possible. I hope you enjoy the deck!
