There really should have been a Bilbo precon for this set, and it may have been scrapped, as this Bilbo has a super interesting mechanic! This is a white weenie deck with graveyard recursion and a human tribal sub theme. I have avoided any cards from other UB sets, as precons typically don't overlap into other IPs, and kept the value of the deck to ~$150. We want to fill the graveyard by staying aggressive, discarding cards (Key to the City, Collector's Vault, Peace of Mind), and playing around the four white recruit cards in the hobbit set (Lake-town Lookout, The Queen of Dale, Celebrate the mountain-king, The Mountain-king's return). Once you have some targets, bring out Bilbo and swing to recur permanents with useful ETBs, or with cool attack triggers. We don't care if they die! Just try and keep Bilbo alive. Add some evasion to Bilbo to make sure he always connects (Rogue's Passage, Maul of the Skyclaves, Zephyr Boots) , and give him double strike to double up the recursion triggers (Fire Shrieker, Duelist's Heritage)! Dealing damage will recur any non-land permanent, so we have plenty of creatures, enchantments, artifacts, and...Battles?? Yes, that's right you heard me, there are battles in this deck! Bilbo will trigger his graveyard recursion if he can deal damage to a Battle! So we have all three mono white battles in this deck to make sure you can cash in on this piece of text! White weenie always struggles a little with keeping your hand filled, so for balance we have several card advantage engines like Tocasia's Welcome, Skullclamp, and Enduring Innocence! Win by overwhelming the board with buffed little guys, (Crescendo of War, Call for Unity) or with big spells like Moonshaker Cavalry!
