Bard leads the defense of Lake-town, recruiting all those willing to fight. The commander is Bard, King of Dale, providing draw and token support for the recruit mechanic. Draw, discard, token, and flicker synergy cards attempt to retrigger the recruit mechanic to align with the story theme of recruiting more defenders as the fight goes on. Some cuts and substitutions made to help with cost, bringing down to something more expected out of a preconstructed commander deck. Chose Hobbit and Lord of the Rings art when affordable. Most expensive card is Queen of Dale. Monument to Endurance would be a good choice for retheming to LOTR art, and also possibly reducing cost with a reprint.
